Local Philanthropy

In 2016, the Zeta Mu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi established the Children's Hope Alliance as our primary local philanthropy. Children's Hope Alliance touches the lives of thousands across North Carolina. Children who come from broken and unstable homes find hope and renewal through this organization. They work to provide life skills and care in order for these children to lead stable and healthy lives. Alpha Delta Pi works closely with this organization by providing the help they need around their Banner Elk campus. We provide them with passionate sisters who work closely with the children to grow strong relationships and make the campus more efficient. Children's Hope Alliance is an extremely heart-warming and humbling experience that every party involved benefits from.

In the fall, Alpha Delta Pi also hosts our annual Pie a Pi. Alpha Delta Pi partners with Alpha Omicron Pi to support The Wounded Warrior Project. In addition, many of our sisters are also involved in service within the Boone community.

"Local Philanthropy grows character and compassion in our sisters that is unparalleled. Being able to experience local organizations is unique because you get to help the people of your town and better the city you live in. It makes the community stronger and more stable while also helping those in need."
